Karl-isms

Karl Lagerfeld makes some of the world's most beautiful clothes. He also makes some of the world's funniest quotable quotes.

My favorite?

"I hate all children." (Which, for the record, I don't personally...at least when they're not crying)

Kaiser Karl sat down with Prestige -- a glossy out of Hong Kong -- and writer Stephen Short to spout a few Karl-isms, one of which he again pointed out his problem with "fat ones" (as in people, not blunts). It's an intriguing prose snapshot in the day and night of Lagerfeld, so check it out.

Upon the interview's end, the designer presented the writer with an action figure of himself.

So jealous.

I'm Lovin' it: Spotting Nikki Sixx of Motley Cue at Holts last night for his Vancouver fete with St. John's Kelly Gray. The two collabo-ed for their Royal Underground clothing line. He's got some cray-zay hair.

I'm Over it: Realizing that Kelly Gray looks nothing like she does in her St. John ads or Royal Underground promos. Girl is HAGGARD.

Music of the Day: Sebastien Tellier. This French singer's newest album Sexuality was produced by one of the helmeted-dudes from that group called, oh, Daft Punk. It's 80s electro-pop to the core, which we all know has made a huge comeback, much to my delight.
