Ahhhh Rachel Roy.

Former stylist and current wife of Damon Dash, mother to cutsie-pootsie daughter Ava and valid, bonafide designer.

This is no Nicky Hilton "Nicholai" label or "J'Aime" by Jaime Pressly. Roy is actually quite adept at designing -- VOGUE seems to like her (judging by the number of photos on its pages and a "Girl Of The Month" stint), as well as the socialite and Hollywood set. Her aesthetic is classy, lady-like and feminine, with a lot of attention of details like puff sleeves, cinched waists and flattering jacket cuts. She's also jumped on the bandwagon with that greenish-yellow mustard color poking its head all over current runways.

Her Spring 2008 collection has a few standouts. I'm adoring the white 3/4 sleeve jacket dress second from the top.
