Shades Of Blue

My buddy D. Venus has a stellar bachelor pad in the West End (complete with an authentic samurai sword as wall art), nestled just a little ways from the corner of Davie and Jervis.

Not only does he have a breathtaking view of English Bay, he also throws mad fireworks & booze shakers every year for the annual HSBC Celebration Of Light extravaganza that happens mid-summer.

No braving the crowds of 100,000-plus, biatch-slapping each other for spots on both the Kits and English Bays sides. Just a sweet pad, good friends, yummy eats (D.V. is a great chef) and an endless supply of magical juices that keep you happy and laughing (till the next day hangover, that is).
