Go For The Gold

Versace shoes are best when:

1. They debut in Milan to a round of oohs and aahs from the fashion set
2. They're open-toed
3. They're at least four and a half inches hight
4. They're gilded in gold

I'm Lovin' it: Writing away with music in the background and CSI: Miami (this one's for you, Tom Tom) muted on the telly. Oh yeah, and this amazingly frothy dress from the recent Rodarte collection. I see wither Tilda Swinton or Charlize Theron in it for sure.






I'm Over it: Moncler boots. They're pretty much the Crocs of boots -- which is one of the biggest fashion faux pas EVER.







Track of the Day: "Only What You Want" by Hayley Sales. First heard this song while waiting with Tom Tom for cowboy flick "3:10 To Yuma" to play on the silver screen at the Paramount downtown (well, now known at Scotiabank Theatre, how's that for going corporate). Think of Hayley as the Canadian, female version of Jack Johnson. Then picture yourself on the beach with a pina colada or Corona. Trust me, you'll like this gal.
