The two began this animated collaboration back in the 1940s, but the project was put on the backburner due to lack of finances.

Walt's nephew, Roy E. Disney, who found it gathering cinematic dust in 1999, resurrected the project and finally gave it life, releasing the animated short in 2003.

This Disney-backed representation of Dali and surrealism is breathtaking.
