Just An Observation.
The extremely bold, strong '80s shoulder -- especially on jackets and blazers -- was major for the past couple of seasons.
After viewing the Balenciaga and Proenza Schouler Pre-Fall collections, I've noticed that shoulders are still on the bold side, but softer, more rounded and...wide.
It's been said that fashion trends reflect current history and economics -- is this a sign that people are beginning to relax a little after all that recession stress?
Hmmmmm. Just some fashion food for thought.
