Tom and Karl Are Pals!

Tom Ford and Karl Lagerfeld, friends forever. Who knew??

Both iconic designers sat down with Time magazine's style editor, Kate Betts, to talk about each other and menswear in general. In the same room at the same time. Wow.

My favorite quote from the sit-down comes courtesy of Karl Lagerfeld: "Something I hate is to be touched by strangers."

Anyone else, but Karl, would be labeled a pompous ass for saying something as haughty as that.

Oh, and to ogle the beauty that is Tom Ford.

I'm Lovin' it: The dramatic craziness going on at some of the runways at Paris Fashion Week. Martin Margiela sent his models out with stockings on their heads and wigs covering the front of their faces, like a couture Cousin It or that creepy well girl from The Ring. Brilliant and captivating, in a weird way. Christian Dior's models had hair pieces that took three days to make and apparently weighed a ton. Jean Paul Gaultier send his models down the runway dancing. Rei Kawakubo sent hers out with towering, fluffy white wigs-slash-headpieces. Only in Paris, only in Paris...

I'm Over it: My current runny nose, the greasy standup comedian last night at Kino Cafe who just wasn't funny and girls who still insist on perpetuating the spreading pandemic known as muffin top. Get a bigger size, ladies.

Track of the Day: "St. Peter's Day Festival" by Ra Ra Riot. Chipper tune for getting over the Wednesday hump.
