Triad Of Power

Anna Wintour: biggest grande dame the fashion world has even seen, owner of the most severe bob on the planet and editrix of style bible Vogue Magazine.

Andre Leon Talley: right-hand man to Wintour, Vogue Magazine scribe and all-around fashion dandy.

Diane Von Furstenburg: one-time countess, wife of media mogul Barry Diller, current CFDA president and brilliant inventor of the classic wrap-dress.

These three form what is known as a fashion triad of power.

Oh, how I wish I knew what they were thinking in this Fashion Week photo-op.

I'm Lovin' it: Local Vancouver graffiti artists like The Dark, Weakhand, Office Supplies Inc. and Nokin. I've really gotten into street art lately, and it's amazing just how big this sub-culture is all around the world. Check it below.

I'm Over it: Awkward moments. Knowing things you wished you didn't know.

Track of the Day: That Out Hud song K-Dawg played for me off his iPod post-Barnone. Though he told me last night the band is Norweigan, a little internet research pin-pointed them as Berkeley, California natives. Their music is like a frothy, layered confection -- each section is different than the last and completely unexpected. It's music that'll never bore your ears.
