Struttin' And Posen

Zac Posen was barely legal when he started his label six years ago.

Now he's a bonafide design star with hordes of fans both in and out of Hollywood, a CFDA award under his belt, financial backing from self-proclaimed "Bad Boy" P. Diddy and completely timeless -- not trendy -- collections that have won over ever-hard-to-please fashion critics.

His Fall 2007 showing was so sublimely Zac. Shimmery pencil skirts, ruffled blouses and dresses, bias-cuts, magnificent red carpet-worthy dresses and his famous friends sitting front row.

I expect Demi Moore, Diddy, Natalie Portman, Claire Danes and indie darling Paz de la Huerta made the cut.

I'm Lovin' it: Vogue Magazine may be called the "fashion bible", but Le Book is a pretty darn close runner-up. This beautiful, extremely pricey publication contains valuable fashion resources enough to make your head spin: fashion, beauty, design, publishing, advertising and entertainment. It covers three major fashion centers: Paris, New York and London. Icing on the cake? Contributions from famous photographers, graphic designers, illustrators and the like litter its pages.

I'm Over it: Apartment hunting. It's hard to find an apartment downtown because everyone and their mother wants to live there, too. How can there be no vacancies when there are so many darn buildings?!

Track of the Day: "Careless Whisper" by George Michael and Wham. Who can resist soulful saxophone intro and smooth (pre-drug abuse) George Michael vocals? I heard this track recently while out and about, reminding me how much cheesy 80s ballads rule.
